ABOUT THE EVENT /

Built on the success of the Boston Rhetoric and Writing Network’s annual Summer Institute, this two-day conference offers New England-area college writing teachers—particularly those who are not able to attend the national CCCC—the opportunity to engage with colleagues in sessions that emphasize the sharing of results from teacher research, the cultivation of scholarly praxes for college writing instructors, and evidence-based, practical ideas for teaching writing.

Registration is $50 for full-time faculty and $25 for part-time faculty and graduate students. To register, go here.

Parking Information

Parking costs $26 for each 24-hour period. Overnight parking is available at BU's Langsam Garage, located at 278 Babcock Street, underneath the New Balance field (see pin in the map below). This is 1.5 blocks (less than half a mile; about a 7 minute walk) from conference housing, which is at 10 Buick Street (see arrow on the left in the map). It is 2.5 blocks from the venue for the conference at the College of General Studies, 871 Commonwealth Ave (about a 10-minute walk).
